On the 20th of last month, Busan United Technology Holdings announced that it had selected 12 promising startups in the marine and fisheries sector of the Southeast region through the “2024 Marine & Fisheries Accelerator Program (B-Wave Accelerating).”
Busan United Technology Holdings was selected as the first regional specialized operator in the “2024 Marine & Fisheries Accelerator” program hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and organized by the Korea Institute of Marine Science & Technology Promotion, to support startups in the Southeast region’s marine and fisheries industry.
The selected startups and prospective entrepreneurs will receive customized mentoring, IR producing, and opportunities to participate in demo days, supporting networking with metropolitan accelerators and investors. In addition, direct investment will also be provided for outstanding companies.
